Energy Fiji Limited - Annual Report 2020

Energy Fiji Limited, previously the Fiji Electricity Authority, was established, incorporated and constituted under the provisions of the Electricity Act of 1966 and began operating from 1 August of that year. The powers, functions and duties of EFL under the Electricity Act are for the basic purpose of providing and maintaining an efficient and cost-effective power supply to the Fijian people in a safe and secure manner that meets high benchmarks in quality. Every consumer group in Fiji is charged a uniform tariff rate to ensure affordability across the socio-economic spectrum.

Fiji Sugar Corporation - Annual Report-2020

The Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC) Limited was incorporated in Fiji by an Act of Parliament in 1972 to take over the milling activities with effect from 1st April 1973. Its successor includes SPSM and CSR Limited. By 2006, the Fiji Sugar Corporation Act was repealed allowing to be governed solely under the Companies Act. 
The Fijian Government is a major shareholder which owns 68% of shares while statutory bodies, local companies and individuals own the rest of the shares.

The 7th meeting of the PEAG was held jointly with The Heads of Maritime and Energy meeting was held in Port Vila, Vanuatu from 7th to 9th December 2016. The meeting was organized and co-hosted by the Government of the Republic of Vanuatu, the Pacific Community (SPC), the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the World Bank.
