Fiji Sugar Corporation - Annual Report-2020

The Fiji Sugar Corporation (FSC) Limited was incorporated in Fiji by an Act of Parliament in 1972 to take over the milling activities with effect from 1st April 1973. Its successor includes SPSM and CSR Limited. By 2006, the Fiji Sugar Corporation Act was repealed allowing to be governed solely under the Companies Act. 
The Fijian Government is a major shareholder which owns 68% of shares while statutory bodies, local companies and individuals own the rest of the shares.

Investigating the Potential of biodiesel production in Fiji: Facilitating Sustainable Production in the fiji region

Biodiesel an alternative renewable energy resource produced from alcohol and  vegetable oil. Its production and quality control has been explored extensively using the  available local raw materials. The final Biodiesel fuel produced has been characterised  by examining it physical and chemical properties.

Millennium Development Goals: Fiji National Report

This Report, provides the status of Fiji’s implementation as regards the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs).The MDG Report has been prepared in the context of the Strategic Development Plan (SDP) 2003-2005. The compilation of the MDG Report was timely as it coincided with the Mid Term Review of Fiji’s SDP 2003-2005 whereby the MDG indicators were also assessed. The MDGs were endorsed in the SDP but were not specifically included as indicators.

Pacific Appliance Labelling and Standards Programme (PALS) Final Evaluation Final Report

The Pacific Appliance Labelling and Standards Programme (PALS), with funding and oversight from the Commonwealth of Australia, and regional management from the Pacific Community (SPC), has supported ten PICs since 2012 as they sought to enact legislation and implement Minimum Energy Performance  Standards and Labelling (MEPSL) for their highest energy-consuming appliances.
