Nicolas Meier

Nicolas was a Master student at the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences in Vienna. He completed an exchange programme with the Lincoln University in New Zealand and as part of his studies in "Natural Resources Management & Ecological Engineering", he further developed in his Master thesis in the topic of solar energy. Nicolas completed his Master-thesis on the potential impact of modern solar energy and battery storage systems on the energy generation based in the Kingdom of Tonga. Nicolas completed his one-month internship (July – August, 2019) with PCREEE and he had the opportunity to participate at the Tonga Royal Agriculture and Tourism Show with the Department of Energy and PCREEE in Vava’u and the Niuas. Nicolas is a German-born who love to travel, learn and expand his experiences in different cultures. Also he is a fan of cooking good and healthy food.
